After WWII, Japanese children were forced to drink the skim milk. (About 50 g of lactose is contained in 100 g of skim milk powder.)

After WWII, Japanese staple food turned into wheat flour.

Since 1991, ingestion of high-FODMAP foods was promoted in Japan.

Helicobacter pylori infection suppresses allergy (food allergy, asthma etc) and obesity. The infection rate of Helicobacter pylori is declining in Japan.

The main cause of Japanese pollen allergy is cedar. Since 1960, a large amount of cedar trees was planted in Japan.
