Colon compliance of diarrhea patients is within the range of normal compliance.
 

Large intestinal compliance of constipation patients often overlaps with normal compliance. High compliance and low compliance exist.

However, compliance of megacolon is obviously different.

This compliance is the same as pulmonary emphysema in lung disease.

Also, the inability to obtain effective pressure is the same as dilated cardiomyopathy.

What is the cause of pulmonary emphysema, dilated cardiomyopathy?

In the megacolon, can defecate feces with high-fiber dietary?

 Colonic wall with diverticulosis has low compliance due to fibrosis.



Fiber theory by Laplace's law cannot be applied to the intestinal tract with low compliance.
