Endoscopic removal of knife from anus

The patient had been a habit to insert the handle of the knife with a hose to his anus.

One day, too insert it, the entire knife went into deeper than the anus.

In the plain abdominal X-ray, jagged metal with tube was confirmed in his lower abdomen. 

Colonoscopy was performed without washing or bowel enema.

End of the tube was observed at the upper rectum.

If the tube is pulled, the tube is separated from the metal.  As a result, the patient leading to intestinal perforation.
 

Therefore, the endoscope was inserted within the tube.

Knife was observed inside of the tube.

Both sides of the knife was a zig-zag like a saw.

Snare was passed over the knife,

and then,  it was tightened in part jagged.

Thereby, the knife with the tube and the endoscope were withdrawn.
 

This is the situation immediately after removal.

Cooking knife had been covered by the tube.

The tip of the knife is sharp. 

The patient was able to return to home without hospitalization, because colonoscopy was performed without general anesthesia.
